I love how the Americans have given Planet Earth a NATURE WILL KICK YOUR FUCKIN HEAD IN  makeover. In fact i've got nothing else to say about that really. Just Ha, typical.

Jose Mourinho on the Champions League warm up program on ITV4 just now:

"I don't think i'm a ghost"

This is an exciting development and I hope the red tops pick up this investigation. I think Jose Mourinho is definitely a ghost.

Wooooo, floating trophy.

Greek club PAOK had their 80th anniversary last year and the ceremony was shown live on Greek national TV. Long story short, the PAOK fans took over proceedings by chanting like they were in the terraces. Stuff like this gives me goosebumps - even the head of the Greek orthodox church is getting involved.

"o paokara, echo trela mes sto mialo, opu ke na pezis panta tha s'akolutho, ya sena tha pethano ke gia sena mono zo"

In English: "Oh PAOK, I have madness in my head, wherever you shall go I shall always follow you, for you I can give my life and I live only for you."
21st-Feb-2007 01:31 pm - Exciting vision clarity update!!
Because this is the only thing I can be bothered thinking about...

According to the people on the lasermyeye.org forums, I have reached the magical 3 week point, after which I develop x-ray vision and ugly people stop looking beautiful. There is still blurriness, but I still have 28 Days Later style redness all over my eyes and the epithelium in both eyes still feels rough. In addition to the blurriness, I was at a party last weekend, my first weekend back in the UK, and some genius thought it might be a fantastic idea to take a close up picture of my left eye, letting the flash off less than 6 inches from my face. Following that I had to put up with fairly severe double vision in my left eye for about a week. I couldn't read a thing!

Distance vision is still good, and improving, but my field of vision is... different. It's hard to pick objects out from the corner of my eyes and if I focus on a particular object everything else disappears, particularly at night. My sensitivity to contrast is also reduced at night, which means that I trip up steps or just miss them completely. I'm having to retrain my eyes to focus, or learn to focus without glasses for the first time, which is an odd experience for an adult to have to go through.

All in all, as my eyes heal, my vision keeps getting better and better. A couple of weeks of shitty vision and a tiny ammount of pain is totally worth it for the end result.
